Following a long month of intensive promotional efforts and teasing the viewers through glimpses Surbhi Chandna (Manmeet Shergill) and Dheeraj Dhoopar's (Rajkumar Yadav) adorable 'nok-jhok the debut season of Sherdil Shergill is finally released. Manmeet has a renowned architect, and lives far apart from the family in Shimla. Her choice to enter the world of architecture is not embraced by her father. However, her desire to prove herself will lead her to Mumbai in India, where she operates an own company.

It couldn't be a more better cast more than Surbhi Chandna for Manmeet Shergill's character. Her rough exterior frightens anyone who sees her, but beneath that glitz is a beautiful woman who has been denied the love of her father and is seeking his approval. When she returns to Mumbai in her office Manmeet Shergill's hatred for Rajkumar Yadav is established in the very first scene. Rajkumar is a student on a one-month training program at the company Manmeet works for as well as is one of the children of the biggest company's financial manager. Though Manmeet isn't a fan but is forced to accept his behavior for obvious reasons.

In addition to being a highly successful architect who is awarded an exclusive front-page spot in premium publications, Manmeet is a mother to a baby girl, Anmol. The negative social stigmas associated with being a single parent are well depicted by one scene. The sassy character is paired with a spoilt and reckless brat Rajkumar and the heart of the tale is their conversation. Dheeraj Dhoopar is charming for Rajkumar Yadav in Sherdil Shergill and has a snoozy attitude to life that is contrary Manmeet's.

Kudos for Saurabh Tewari for trying out new the world of television with two of the biggest faces in the industry of television. Sherdil Shergill is an romantic drama and Surbhi's Dheeraj and Chandna duo ignites fire on the screen by their chemistry that is palpable. Their banter is worth watching for. The show's emotions are on the right track.
